A Portfolio In Progress...

Recommended Posts

those are chest pieces right?

as in from the bottom view, its a cylinder base?

if so... you need to work on your ellipses!

is color a must?

cuz id suggest you work on sketching first.

hey there, long time no see

i would need your help again

currently i'm searching for usefull learning material(books ?) which is teaching human proportions

especially the differences when drawing kids or elderly people would be important.

since now i have only found stuff about faces and adult proportions and i guess that there alot more american books(usefull books)

take different poses of a friend or family member, quickly draw it,

the books can teach you detail, as in how smooth the lines n curves should be when your drawing these bodies and faces.

I cant think of a better way to learn human body than drawing pictures, of course, getting a model will even be better.

the thing is, thats what i have been doing lately

but the problem I have is that if try to draw a "thinking man" out of my mind it may work in the first place in terms of proportions and perspective but the sketch itself is far from being clean

second, if i want to draw a child or an old person the message doesn't really get transported, the figures just look like people
