Here's my effort, rendered in Cinema 4D. I always look forward to your new tutorials as I learn a lot of new things from every one. Thanks for the effort it must take.

A quick question. I had difficulty in the early steps in creating a spline with a corner point (i.e. the handles are not collinear). In fact I couldn't find any way at all in SW2008 of doing this so I created two splines instead. There must be a way of doing this but I can't find it. Every combination of key I tried they remained resolutely collinear.

It's for the spline in post 5. Here is a picture.

Hope this explains the problem.

Thanks

Ragde,

That's what I ended up doing - using 2 splines. In Cinema 4d. Adobe Illustrator, etc, you can edit Bezier spline handles independently to create sharp corners so I thought SW might be able to do the same.

I did a bit of experimenting this morning and found, like you have pointed out, that you can put two points close together and pull in the handles of one point.

Anyway, at least I know it's not me.

Thanks

Steve
