cash68 7 Report post Posted May 16, 2008 Some new stuff: Both ballpoint sketches originally, then rendered in Sketchbook Pro/ Photoshop. The freightliner took me about 35 minutes start to finish.
Guest Lilith Report post Posted May 23, 2008 ballpoint? looks more like pencile, especially the smoking guy nice sketches :clapping: however i think The freightliner needs a bit more detailed highlights, a bit more contrast

engio 1 Report post Posted August 26, 2008 Reminded me of a (bastardized) SAAB 9-5 as well. I like that vintage approach in your last 2 sketches (lightening/darkening the background canvas to bring out form).
Guest Skint Report post Posted August 27, 2008 I like the gradient style too.. Cash are you bringing Sharp edges and squares back into fashion ?

Sketchyd 4 Report post Posted September 22, 2008 talk about an improvement! great stuff cash. my favorite is the top down view. havent seen many ppl draw in that view. most likely cuz its difficult to get correct proportions and perspective while achieving a nonflat look. great job

It's good to hear some feedback.... I've been sketching on a 21" cintiq all summer for an internship, and I think it's really helped me push farther. Thanks for the advice on the perspective... I'll try to do more.
