Hey folks,

I'm working on my latest porfolio release. I have projects from mainly last year but in a new format. I also have included my housewares project that recieved honorable mention in the International Housewares Student Competition. Thanks!

I appreciate any feedback - !

Thanks again -

Chris

nice idea and design of your grillmate. i think just 1 hand under the bottom of the grillmate should be enough to carry it around (waiter style)

so secondary handles maybe not necessary?

Well here are my thoughts...

Waiter style may not be as intuitive for the consumer. Likely someone looking at this product want to know how I hold it while exiting doors. The secondary handle is added value and a helpful selling point. The consumer can see on the packaging that I can hold grillmate and slide a screen door.

It's more of a marketing issue, but I felt it was necessary to the design as well.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!

:)

I dig the sketches, and I really like the Craftsman board, one question though...

is that Alias beef on the grillmate rendering?

hi cool,

yes, that happens to be alias beef - it's a bump map that was used with my shader to give it that raw look. I also have brauts and t-bone steaks ready. They're in my booklet - ask me about it sometime.

thanks for checking out my work!

Well Carl,

Coroflot is a nice & efficent way to get work out.

It allows me to simply see the work without the need to navigate through a website. I would say 90% of the websites I goto or are sent to - are not worth my time navigating through them.

This is not to say it's always this way. But, on here a majority of the sites I am sent to is crap.

I will update my coroflot sometime tonight or tomorrow. It's not the template that defines the designer - it's the product they turn out.

Please try and focus more on what is really important.
