"merging" Solids? In Sw?

Recommended Posts

Guest Delinquent

Is it possible to simply "merge" solids together to form one new larger solid that could be shelled etc?

I've got 4 solid bodies that were reasonably complex to construct from surfaces, that I'd like to overlap and then form a new solid from the results that I can work with - can I do this? I'm probably being very stooopid or maybe just blind, but I'm blowed if I can find out how! (or do I need to fiddle about trimming surfaces and the like?!

Select all bodies in the tree with CTRL, then right-click -> combine.

You should get one body on which you can work.
