Entrance Prepration?

hello everyone my name in Ankush ,i just completed my graduation in mechanical engineering and i am planing to do my post graduation in PRODUCT DESIGNING from NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF DESIGN ,AHMADABAD . I heard that admission there is really difficult as there are 10 seats only ,actually i am not getting proper guidance about how can i prepare for the entrance , are there any coaching institutes or any books that can help me out ?.Mostly students goes for MBA or M.TECH after there graduation so people here dont know much about PRODUCT DESIGNING so please Designers help me out i really need your help

well, competition is there but your creativity will take you through. practically tehre is no need for any technical preparation like coaching classes or books. just improve your observation skills, sketch a lot as much as you can and keep yourself updated on recent design trends, materials, products etc.

also check NID site for coming admissions. forms will be out by sept. all the very best
