Candle Holder - Tutorial

Hi friends!:

Here we are with the Candle Holder tutorial (it is not a mere breakdown):

If the numbering of the planes do not coincides with those on the images, it does not matter, just use them as references an orientation.

Note: if the Composite command gives you an error of disjoint curves, then go back and edit the 3DSpline to assure that it has "coincident" relationship with the ends of both helixes that the Spline is connecting with.

i am only familiar with catia as a cad program... which program did u use for this tutorial? i know that many product designers use solidworks

Hi,

 

I appear to be having problems with this.

 

I am usin the student edition of Solid works and for some reason when I cicular pattern the legs it doesnt work. The outline appears as if to say they will be put in place here but once I accept they dissappear?

 

Anyone able to help?

when i met this kind of problem, i will check the curves to see if there are something wrong with them first.
