I started this challenge..but gave up...too busy to spend the time...But i know this layout you've provided will help me out alot...I plan on working on the chess piece for the hell of it.

I was wondering what were the "fast" solids techniques you used on your first attempt! :)

 

From what I understood from this tutorial, you used surface techniques along with solids techniques (specially on the mouth section), kniting and "trying to form a solid" afterwards, right?!

 

I never used this aproach... but I'm still an early user yet!
