Nice rendering. Some of the details are nicely done as well. My only crit would be the front wheels couldn't actually turn because of how tight they are. :)

May be it can turn like tank. :)

That's like telling somebody who is designing a car with 4 wheels that he's being unorigional.

yes maybe u r right but if a car has 3 wheel then it is not car :) " in my opinion"

I've never said this is a car. :) It's a motorbike in my opinion.

nice renders, seems similar to a design i did a while back. the front wheels though wont have any room to turn the way you have it, so im not sure how it will steer? and i love c4d, such an easy to learn program with loads of features, and so cheap!

Thanks Menappi. I've addressed the front wheel issue with a new version of the design

on the moment I don have any works up ear but later you see...

continue the good work and yf you care try to do a beter studie inside the car, becouse dont reflect the care you have with the outside of the car ..,.

I understand what you mean about schools not offering much on Automotive design. I love 3 wheelers and I have been designing and building them for a few years. I love your concept and I might do something like it for my next build. here are a few of my things. You will find sketches, art, 3d andreal life stuff.

Nice Todd!

I'm impressed at your fabrication, have you done all of that yourself?! Very nice work there.

I've very interested in that project, I'd love to keep up to date on it. Email me at lx.hodge@gmail.com if you'd like. ;)

A few questions:

- Is the motor mounted on the swingarm?

- Where is the pivot point for the swingarm?

- How much travel does the front suspension have? (roughly)

- What are the engine specs?

- What is the weight of the bike overall? (roughly)

Thanks alot for the kind words. I have done everything my self from the drawing board to the road.

Ok, I,'d love to answer your questiond but I dont know if you are talking about RQT or Lo-T3K. So I will answer for both of them.

RQT,

- Is the motor mounted on the swingarm?

No, I used the original fram and made a front subframe and attached them together.

- Where is the pivot point for the swingarm?

In the factory motorcycle location.

- How much travel does the front suspension have? (roughly)

About 5" up and 1" down.

- What are the engine specs?

The motor is a Honda CBR1000. It has around 125hp.

- What is the weight of the bike overall? (roughly)

I would put RQTs weight arond 700-750 lbs.

Lo-T3K'

- Is the motor mounted on the swingarm?

No, I made a single sided swing arm that runs a chain through a jackshaft.

- Where is the pivot point for the swingarm?

Just behind the chassis itself.

- How much travel does the front suspension have? (roughly)

About 5" up and 2" down.

- What are the engine specs?

I am using the same CBR1000 motor

- What is the weight of the bike overall? (roughly)

About the same as RQT 700-750 lbs.

I also just got a 2001 Ninja 250 so I can start a high MPG 3 wheeler next year and I have a Suzuki RF900R motor sitting waiting for a new life.....hehehehehe

I will do my best to keep in touch with everyone but it is hard. Some times it is best to hit me up and so I can reply back. You can also join my Yahoo group and stay in touch with my builds and some other interesting builds out there. I am working on a web site and hope it will be up soon.

Keep in touch.
