Hi CooperKid

Yeah, im abit confused about the deadline as well, but i think final post (correct me if i'm wrong) is today before mid-night. As the poll starts on Sunday.

Sounds exciting, cant wait for your final outcome, good luck!!

I'm still churning away.

Cheers, but still a little confused as it said judging starts 21st?

still knocking away at finals... will have to present what i can i guess...

good luck to you all...

This in not my final idea / posting! just another avenue that I decided to explore..

Caught this in the paper the other day… Our national Supermarkets are now trying to encourage shoppers to be responsible with regards to carrier bags.. Tesco are now giving points back on their point’s scheme for people who re-use their branded carrier bags.

See advert:

trolley - nothing flash.. just an idea to encourage shoppers

When they get home they unload the shopping and put the empty carrier bags into the pocket inside the lid ready for the next time!

Decided to take it further by making it part of house furniture, create a space for it… where else do you put shopping trolleys?

This is where I’m going man... making the trolley as part of a furniture.. Why else would you want a cumbersome bulk sitting in your house!!

This is the start of the long final haul...

Good luck everyone...

Decided to personalise it.. which got me thinking!!

trolly_comp_picture.jpg

final run home...

trolley_text.jpg

this is a thought about a expandable trolley that can be put up on the wall like a picture frame..

picture_frame.jpg

with a poster / image

picture_frame_image.jpg

it expands as illustrated..

2.jpg

handle pulls up from back and clicks into place.. also illustrated is point of hanging on the back..

1.jpg

wheels as illustrated..

5.jpg

inner bag idea... two options of zips..

3.jpg

Double zipper..

4.jpg

think this idea would pose a few problems... well we all know it can be a pain in the ass to hang a picture up (those with picture wire behind)

which leads me on to the next idea...

Intergrated handle that is also used as a hanging point.. attach solid unit to wall which allows you to hang the trolley.. see illustration below

6.jpg

illustration of clip.. push down clip holds the unit together

7.jpg

illustration of solid floor in trolley when in its expanded mode..

another floor illustration

view in expanded trolley mode..

10.jpg

front frame has sheet of perspex. front element is fixed to frame whilst second inner sheet is unclipped to allow you to insert poster / images etc.

see illustration below..

Sweet idea!! Hanging the trolley on the wall to save space, i would never thought of that, even cooler as it acts like a poster.

Good luck
