very good sketching style, the presentation is a bit strange, the coloured squares do not bring out the monchrome drawings. I think it would be better is you kept all the squares indigo too.

THe chrome is a bit to screamy, you lose the shape of the product.

You are one of the best sketchers on this forum, keep it up

A.

Spence,

You have some amazing skills.

You're definetely as good as I've seen.

I wouldn't say you have far to go at all. That rendering works as well as any rendering needs to. It may not be as emotional as some renderings where you have a car zooming through the city at night, but for a little thing like that you've done a great job of communicating form, material, and scale. Sometimes going overboard is fun, but what you've got there is really sharp work.

impressive sketching skills, very communicative.

only crit is that it might be better to replace that dark background behind that pedometer with a lighter one. i mean, avoid placing a dark element in front of a dark background. you want to popup that object and not to merge it with that background, right?

Here's a quick sketch/render of a truck I drew on the way to school. rendered it later using Painter 8. Again, comments, criticisms, critiques are welcome
