Every now and then you come across a quotation that as a creative individual seems to hit the nail on the head. A friend of mine gave me this one, and I thought I would share it.

"Be brave enough to live life creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been.
You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You can't get there by bus, only by hard work and risk and by not quite knowing what you're doing.

What you'll discover will be wonderful.

What you'll discover will be yourself."

Alan Alda (1936- )
American actor
advice to his daughter

Any more good ones out there?

The ultimate solutions to problems are rational; the process of finding them is not (W. Gordon).

What is originality? Undetected plagiarism (Dean Inge).
