hi, i am currently using a wacom intuos 3 a5 on a 17" monitor, and my mate is using an intuos a4 on a 20" monitor. the general concensus from professionals and reviews seems to be that for a 20" mon and up you really need the a4 or more, to do with the real world tablet size and the screen size ratio. as for the widescreen version of the a5, computer arts magazine recently rated the a5w with 4.5/5 stars, and said that for a tablet newcomer it may be woth the investment, but it is not necessarily worth updating from an a5. personally im not too sure that there would be a great advantage in getting the a5w, possibly with a wide monitor maybe? sorry thats not a great deal of help! i would highly recommend the intuos range in general though.
