Hi,

 

I'm Matthew, and I will begin studying product design at The University of Leeds this september.

I studied Manufacturing Engineering at college, but after working in engineering for a short period of time i decided i would be more suited to a more creative role.

 

I am looking forward to starting my studies, and from what I have seen so far on the forums, I'm sure I will find alot of help and guidence here.

I am Phil Staunton, Managing Director of D2M Innovation - a small bespoke design consultancy that helps individuals and SME's launch new product ideas.

 

We offer everything from concept design through prototyping, website design and even promoting concepts to retailers. I setup the company around 18 months ago after running a large design team for 4 years for a different design house. D2M is unique in that we are twinned with a patent attorney firm and based on their offices so if someone needs a product patenting and prototyping then we can do it in all in house!

Hi guys!

 

I'm Casey, a 2nd year Industrial Design student at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand (Hobbits, anyone? ). I actually studied 2 years of Architecture before changing majors as I realised I enjoyed product design far more. I am also an amateur photography enthusiast. I am interested in creating some sort of startup once I graduate and going from there.
