Hi all,

I work in London as a Product Designer for a multidisciplinary consultancy. I've joined the forum to keep learning from others and sharing what I know.

I studied Industrial Design in the UK at Loughborough Uni and worked for a company specialising in CAD/CAM software and rapid prototyping machinery. I'm now enjoying a more creative role in our studio designing anything from optical frames to food packaging. I also enjoy graphic design and I'm interested in web technology and it's relationship with product design.

Cheers and happy blogging!

Guest AM.Design

Hi,

I am currently a mechanical engineering student (I am on my fifth and, hopefully, last year).

I have been interested in industrial design for a couple of years, and next year I am going to undertake a postgraduate year in ID (In France this is called "Specialized Master").

I am also interested in art, especially photography.

I registered to that forum to get better at sketching and communicating my ideas.

See you soon

Guest Brian c

Hello,

Well here is my introduction ha ha. My name is Brian Calderon and recently graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BFA in product design. I recently just pick up my diploma so I now have to see where I want to hang it. Well I am currently looking for work in the Industrial design field but I would have to say it is becoming really hard, but I am trying my hardest to find on. I am willing to travel any where and would really like to try the over seas thing. I do have a website you can check out www.calderon-design.com. Well that is about it for me I love every thing design. I am a sport person so like playing and watching and I think I can offer some one a lot but I guess employers are not willing to take a chance yet on me.

Thanks

Brian Calderon

Hello,

Glad to be here, this seems like a great discussion forum.

I studied Industrial Design at The University of Michigan, along with Sculpture and a fair dose of Mechanical Engineering. Most of the design and development work I have done has been in athletic footwear, team sporting goods, snow sports, travel, and outdoor gear.

Best Wishes,

Alex Morouse
