I love the sketches. i think you should put some door mirrors on the volvo. thats just me, but i think it would make the car look less futuristic.

thx ... ure right bout the mirror ...

but ... what about my actual work??? ... it would really appreciate some advices ...

There are a couple different ways of drawings hands.

I think a good exercise is to try to draw your hand without looking at the paper, just concentrate on looking at your hand. This works pretty well after a few tries.

Also , why dont you just try sketching over photos or images of hands, all different sizes to try to get used to drawing the positions of each fingers.

It is good just to try and skeleton out the hand with primitives aswell before you crack on because that will guide you and give you an idea about whether your proportions are correct or not.

To get good proportion try drawing and not taking your eye off the object you are drawing at all, and not even looking at the paper. it seems like a silly idea and your first few drawings will be poor, but you will soon start to notice that the proportions are more correct because this technique trains hand-eye co-ordination.

[/b]Border Lines: Like everyone else here, I think that your sketches are great.

One thing I do miss, is border lines. It is best noticed at the second car you sent, it's almost imposible to part from the Background to the car. Try using bolder lines in the cloer parts and a thinner line where the background is, but let us see those lines. I think it would help your sketch and I'd like to see how it came out.

Keep up the good work.

ok ... thx guys ... considering the comments today i decided to redo that Volvo sketch ... i used the old one as an underlay ... but unfortunatelly i noticed that the perspective is completely wrong ... i fixed the the greenhouse but that made even worse ... but it was too late when i noticed ... it was halfway done ... i tried to fix it so i think is soso now ... so finished anyways ... at least it was another good rendering exercise ;) ... will post the original old one and the original new one .. notice: no photoshop except for the border! the old one was pencil + marker ... the new one is done with black ballpoint pen + marker + some pastel touches ...

old one:

new one:
