what do u guys think of these.this is kinda lik my first time rendering sumtin on max.

shadows are awfull. Use softer and less dark shadows. Also use more lights than just one. Have you ever been in a room where there was just only one light? Every window, every reflective material is a lightsource. So to get a good rendering you need a couple of lights.

 

also try to play with depth of field. the vases in the back should be a bit blurry.

Yes- use soft shadows and tone down the reflectivity of the red material. The design is very simple, but it is hard to see that you have designed a vase.

The lighting is very harsh. This is a decent attempt, but you will have to improve the quality of your render. Please post a revised render with improved materials and environment.

yes, yes....there is a lot of useful infos and tutotrials.....also you can go to http://www.evermotion.org/....there is a lot of tutorials how to set-up scene for rendering and many others.....useful stuff......sign up to their forum...
