Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share a project I have been working for the last 6 months. 'AD' is a new start-up, independent smartphone manufacturer due to launch next year in Asia. I was approached by AD about 6-7 months ago and asked to design their debut handset the 'ADero'. Last week during London Design week we launched the design of the handset to the western market as part of TENT London.

We decided to showcase the design to the western market to gauge reaction to the developing concept, as the idea is to hit the western market after the Asian launch. After an outstandingly positive reaction to the concept AD are in serious discussions to launch to the western market earlier than expected.

At this point we are moving ahead with our software and internal hardware development and are looking to launch in about a years time, but all will be confirmed in coming months.

Thanks man. Yeah the AD team contacted me via product design forums from seeing my portfolio and website.

Would you be interested to write an article about it, that we can publish on the Hub blog?

Id seen this around on the TV...nice to finally meet the designer! good job keep us posted on the development. I would love to see a vid of a working prototype on here
