Cafe Del Mar /plywood Relax Chair

Hi all, here s my first topic on this design forum, its Cafe Del Mar Relax chair... You can saw this on some forums , design blogs or expositions and exhibitions on wordwide...

Typically shape coming from requierements for 4 special seating options, its typologically new type of shape... tripod platform for better stabilization in plywood material version...object of chair contains two pieces of molded plywood , joined with four screws...Cafe have very ,,poor"

and simple upholstered pillows from PU /with pressured cotton fibres finish/ joined together with thin strip...

Looks nice, what are the different seating positions and what role does it play in the context? why is it only partially chushioned/upholstered?

It looks really cool but I think it might accumulate a lot of dust due to the spaces between cushions

Nice Styling but for styling sake. Impractical from an engineering perspective. The loading is right near the rear legs so the rear legs will splay (Intuitively) there is no gusseting on the load points. The round pads would make the chair hard to clean in a commercial environment. Nice rendering but impractical and nieve.

a ) Bent 3/4" plywood won't splay under a normal person's weight.

b ) Who says it's for a commercial environment?
