Guest MBW17 Report post Posted May 9, 2009 hmm it seems to me that you have like one view down that you use for every design, its basically the same shape just different elements, you need to try to break away from that, do more views and different ones also line weight needs some improvement, keep it up! Guest AutomóvilVerde Report post Posted May 10, 2009 the perspective lines don't look like they're meeting anywhere, the ones for the side of the car
Guest NelsonDesign Report post Posted May 11, 2009 My dad likes to give me little challenges to design something new. This time, it was the Hillman Imp. I think I got some perspective issues sorted out (not all) and I like the design on the front, yet the side is a bit outdated.

Guest Taro Report post Posted May 13, 2009 i agree, your perspective improved quite a lot, now it is more of a proportion issue. Your car doesn't look like it's right. also, some of your shadow doesn't really make much sense. lastly, i suggest you watch where to place your signature, it is a little bit distracting right now. Hey thanks man, I'll take this into account AFTER this sketch lol. I just did it for Carspyshots.net contest on the Mazda Miata This is a bigger newer version. Guest Taro Report post Posted May 26, 2009 is it just me, or just the picture, or just you? I think most of your cars seem to be on the 'long' family side.

I would like to say it's just you, or just the scanner. But no, it is me, I have a problem with wheelbases haha

Guest Kaiyuan Report post Posted June 25, 2009 Your cars have a tendency to "lean" backwards. The mercedes kinda looks like it's bending (either at the left hand side of the sketch, or the side of the car), although the original design of the car was a big curve. Drawthrough the vehicle more. choose a vanishing point somewhere and try to get an idea of the angle of the perspective lines would be. Your wheelbase seems to be fine but the body of the car is just slightly off. I would say lineweight is good, although I would have emphasized the shoulder of the car more, but that's just me.
