C- didnt try at all

D- doesnt exist, possiblity of disownment

F- doesnt exist, disowned

Youll do foundations the first two terms of art center.

but they dont take it slow, youll get 'started' right away.

basically, youll do foundations but its part of your normal classes.

@ sketchy

what you mean foundation for the first two terms? so I'll be doing some transportation, some illustrations, etc etc ?

@scorpio

first page------

hmm, ellipse issue makes it less believable. However, I do get how it works.. so you did a good job on explaning.

this angle is probably the most common angle, and I would say that it works well. If you want it to look more dynamic, more fun to look at, then put in even more perspective to it. It might ruin the whole explanation though.

second page-

i like the one on the right, in a sense, it looks realistic, especially from a little distance away.

right now, alot of easy detail that you can add in to make your rendering more realistic. Usually, contrast is what make things pop out more. So you can also exaggerate the contrast.

anyways, perspective and ellipse is ruining the overall by alot.

first of all, what do you think is the purpose of rendering? I think many will say, it is to define the shape, and give it details and realism. So I would say the middle one works the best, and it is actually call a 'render.'

good job, keep going at it.

round you ellipse a bit more.

Im off to bed, totaly shattered. been up around the clock these past few days non stop drawing just trying to pull everything together. not many days left now before everything has to be handed in then im home for the summer.

but untill then, its gona be late nights and non-stop drawing.

again thanks Taro and everyone else whos been helping me out. if taken it on board and applied it to the work im submitting and i can actually see the difference for the better. just from practicing since your last post ive dished out a good 15 more A3 drawings and render's which aint bad in my opinion saying i should have crashed into bed 9 hours ago.

guess thats dedication for ya !

il pick this back up 2mora, or rather, it is 2mora, so technicaly today in a few hours. . . :ermm: ermm ?

Yea, i need some sleep. later.

You should rest man... hey, when I draw... lets say for some project and I need to spend a lot of time I usually listen to music... it helps me a lot.... checkout "Inhaler" by Craig Armstrong... it stimulates my creativity...

what bout my other question guys,

is there any other music that you would use in your presentations ?

the type of music you hear when you have created a 3D model and you have animated the camera to pan around it etc.

i think i read somewhere about some CD you can buy that has design music tracks

what you mean foundation for the first two terms? so I'll be doing some transportation, some illustrations, etc etc ?

unlike most school, Art Center expects you to know foundations from the get go. Although you will start immediately, you will have about 8 classes i think 1st term. Within those 8 classes:

> 1 classs will be writing studio (english)

> another will be digital design 1 (intro to photoshop, illustrator...make sure you get "Jon Chambers")

> you will have viscomm 1 (it goes up to 5or6) viscomm 1&2 = perspective

> and a couple other classes, which i cant remember.

But basically you will be learning everythign you need to know.

Like how to do perspective, how to draw a car, how to make molds, how to work with clay, color theory, space theory, but these are all in a sense intro classes, cuz they expect you to already know it all.

The first 2 terms, will focus heavily on TRADITIONAL stuff, no computer, no digital, all hand done.

Make sure you work your ass off the first 2 terms, cuz after that no more foundations.

Bottom line, whatever you learn and do, make sure you strive to be top of the class.

Even if it is foundations.

Cuz everything will benefit u in the end.
