Good Chinese Prototype Manufacturers?

Hello, Product Design Forum Members--

Does anyone happen to know of a reliable Chinese Prototype Manufacturer with reasonable rates and multiple payment methods?

I have used Bole Solutions in the past, but they only accept TT and the $45 bank wire fees are too costly for me.

Thanks

Adzero - Bamboo Smartphone

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to share a project I have been working for the last 6 months. 'AD' is a new start-up, independent smartphone manufacturer due to launch next year in Asia. I was approached by AD about 6-7 months ago and asked to design their debut handset the 'ADero'. Last week during London Design week we launched the design of the handset to the western market as part of TENT London.

We decided to showcase the design to the western market to gauge reaction to the developing concept, as the idea is to hit the western market after the Asian launch. After an outstandingly positive reaction to the concept AD are in serious discussions to launch to the western market earlier than expected.

At this point we are moving ahead with our software and internal hardware development and are looking to launch in about a years time, but all will be confirmed in coming months.

Hello,

I just found this site and have always enjoyed art and design. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering and have had the opportunity to work with a CNC water jet cutter for some of the furniture I have built. A few of the pieces of art work were actually painted by my wife too. So without further ado, here is a link to my Blog:

Tha Chameleon Chair

Ok, to renew my participation here i am psoting this chair - it was developed and prototyped this summer for about a week in my back garden.
The main idea is to have the possibility to use different type of seats - in shape, colour and material - and to use the same frame for all of them.
This will make easier (and cheaper) changing of the mood of a house/cafe/restaurant etc.
For this prototype i used simple used IKEA seat - just put some upholstery ...
C&C are welcomed!

Need Advice To Make Fake Pills And Sushi

Im looking to make a small sculpture of sushi and fake pills and am unsure how to proceed. I was thinking of creating the pills and sushi as 3d models then sending that off to a 3d printer, but this would be rather expensive as each piece of sushi has been quoted from several vendors to cost 20.00 pounds each! Ill need around 6-8 pieces of sushi.

As for the pills, my options seem to be either cheap paracetamol/cold pills from the shop, or expensive pill presses to make my own extacy style pills with those little emblems/logos on them. I was thinking I could perhaps create one pill out of clay, then sculpt my own little embem/logo on it, then make a cast out of that but have not idea what to do after the cast making. Im fairly good with my hands and 3d programs like 3ds max/blender, just dont really know how to execute this concept, any help would be appreciated!
