Digital-Tutors replied to Digital-Tutors's topic in TutorialsNew Revit and Previsualization Tutorials for CAD Hot off the new CAD release from Digital-Tutors, we have two new tutorials that will give you what you need to push your CAD design skills to the next level. When you're faced with multiple design options, it can be like comparing apples to oranges. Get a detailed comparison with this latest Revit tutorial on Working with Design Options. Learn how to make decisions based on your design's impacts. With a nearly complete model, you’ll create two designs using option sets. Then, combine 3D and perspective views with schedules to produce a detailed comparison sheet allowing you to understand the impact of each design. For designers wanting to add new modeling and texturing skills, and those working on product visualizations, follow along with Developing Expert Product Visualizations in Maya and V-Ray. In the new tutorial members will learn how to model a product, specifically a mini soundboard, from concept to the final render. You will learn how to take a simple 2D sketch and turn it into a realistic model, ready to be presented as a pre-visualization mock-up. We will learn how to create a simple studio lighting setup to present our model in, create a wide variety of realistic yet simple shaders and, finally, look at powerful render elements to create our final image in post. By the end of this tutorial, you will have the knowledge to create your own concept models and get some beautiful renders for your product pre-visualization.
