    About Us

We are a fully accredited art school, offering courses which lead to qualifications from some of the UK’s most respected awarding bodies. We are approved by the City & Guilds of London Institute, ABC Awards and the Scottish Qualifications Authority. We are a collaborative partner of the University of Hertfordshire, one of the UK’s best modern universities. We have been successfully delivering recognised UK qualifications since 2005 and have helped over 500 students from 49 countries study for a career in art & design. We now run 14 courses in 10 subjects across 5 levels. The Interactive Design Institute is on the UK Register of Learning Providers (UKRLP). Our UK Provider Reference Number is: 10006389. www.idesigni.co.uk
  2. No fee increases With more and more universities planning to charge the maximum fee allowable from 2012, it seems likely that the average cost of a university course could be around £8,000 per year. The cost of studying with the Interactive Design Institute is half that, and take it from us we intend to keep it that way – our aim is to keep the cost of studying at IDI as low as possible. www.idesigni.co.uk/fees To help you manage your fees we offer a range of payment options, including monthly instalments and early payment discounts. You can study for your degree for as little as £256.00 per month, and you can also apply for help through fee and course grants. Not only that, you can continue to work, and earn, while you study. So it’s worth thinking twice about the cost of going to a traditional university. Ask yourself – do you really want to end up with that much debt? For more information or to talk to our admissions team about our courses you can call our free phone number 0800 917 1118 or you can complete our contact us form and one of our team will call you back.
  3. For students who wish to study product design and gain an internationally recognised, university accredited Product design degree, studying online with IDI provides a flexible, affordable means of achieving their goal. In keeping with the tradition of UK based degrees, IDI’s online BA (Hons) Product Design course has a strong emphasis on designing product solutions for a changing world, and crucially, understanding where these solutions sit within the context of consumer product design.

Product Design has come to play an important role in the creative industries and graduates who hold a Product design degree are highly sought after in the employment market. IDI’s Product Design Degree course differs from other courses in that it offers a real focus on user needs, design trends, innovation and predictions. Our overall aim in our product design degree is straightforward; we prepare students to meet the expectations of the professional design industry. Our fully accredited UK university product design degree is delivered online and offers an opportunity for students who might otherwise be unable to attend the University, to study for a University of Hertfordshire award. If you would like to find out more information about our course you can visit our website or you can contact us for more advice Interactive Design Institute www.idesigni.co.uk

Hi there, As we are new members of this forum we wanted to introduce ourselves and our company. We are the Interactive Design Institute; the UK’s leading provider of online qualifications in art & design. We work in partnership with University of Hertfordshire, and offer courses in Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior & Spatial Design, Photography, Interactive Media Design and our newest course Product Design. All our courses are studied entirely online. This means that not only can you study from home but can even continue to work at the same time. But how is it possible to study design online, you may ask? Why not listen to what our students say. I think the work our students produce speaks for itself. Why not take some time to view what our students have produced by visiting our gallery? We look forward to hearing from you. Interactive Design Institute www.idesigni.co.uk
