Hi Guy's, Not sure how many other designers think a Facebook page is a good idea? I've given it a go; http://www.facebook.com/fusionweld1 for uploading and image management it is a lot better than Coroflot or Squarespace that I use on for my website. Thoughts?? Cheers, @FusionMark

Hey Guy's, I have also created some YouTube clips that show some of the "Technical" Solidworks stages and a clip on my "Design" process. I would love to know what you guys think! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=VQKM5R1M5ls http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=he4fMsLzkoc

Hi NVA, Your design looks good. My first reaction is the frame part looks a little soft? There are some large fillets and quite plain sections in the middle, maybe you could add some more surfacing detail such as the cut-outs in the wheels or some harder edges in the frame? I think it is a great start you just need to keep on working the design, try printing it off with 50% opacity and sketch some ideas over the top. Best regards, @Fusionmark

Thanks for the feedback NVA. I used Solidworks 2011 to create the bike. I wanted to keep the look super clean so decided to opt out of the indicators, I totally agree that it would be great to incorporate them and make them really sleek. Maybe when I have some free time in the future I will tweak the design and add a crazy paint scheme (Suggestions welcome!!) I have created a blog with loads of detail on my design process here; http://fusionweld.sq...12-chopper.html The chopper model can also be purchased as a 3D print from Shapeways here! Cheers, @Fusionmark

Hi Guy's, Finally, I managed to find some time to work on a project of my own! I loved watching the last series of American Chopper and have been so inspired by Paul Jr Designs I had to have a crack at a chopper design of my own. In the next few days I will post some sketch and development work, but for now please check out the final renders of the model! Some of the unique features of the bike are; A huge 20" front & 16" rear wheel A one piece tank and seat housing A super stretched out 35 degree rake Dual exhaust with integrated LED lights A stripped back, long and low slung stance Feedback most welcome!

I think your work is really nice, but maybe there are too many pages? I would reduce the amount of content and focus on your best work! Good job matey!

I've uploaded some screen captures of a few 3D projects I have worked on in the last 3-4 months, I think its a nice way to extend my portfolio and shows a lot more detail than renders do. What do you think? Custard Case for the Raspberry Pi Racing Carbon Sleigh

Update: I have added a short YouTube clip of my Racing Carbon Sleigh which can be found here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWEm_fDUNtk&feature=context&context=C4a371afADvjVQa1PpcFOm3OM5DkfnbzxDuIBPUwgNr5JF_s2gKQA= Someday I will get an SLA print of this one, I think it would look great on the shelf!

Thanks Cash68, I totally agree, its a shame that a few of the projects I can't show because they are not out yet or were cancelled have some nice surfacing. I tend to create rough sketches along the design process than presentable ones, but its something I have been working on. Thanks for the feedback!
