Multi Use Chair - Please Leave Feedback!

Sounds good, would cut down on the weight of the chair too.

To give you an idea of the seating postures.

I considered using the centre space as storage, but then that may become impractical if the chair is flipped over a lot, it is worth thinking more about though I suppose. Here is a picture of the main frame to give you an idea of its construction. And I will try and get some pictures taken of people using it at some point...

The sides are made from 15mm plywood and it is also that thickness underneath, believe me it's pretty solid
  5. Hi there, my name is Alasdair and I am undergoing the Product Design A level course in the UK. The brief was contemporary seating and I came up with this. The main feature of the chair is that it can be used either way up, giving two different seating positions. It is mainly constructed from plywood and foam, making it relatively cheap to produce. I would very much appreciate some feedback on my design, both positive and negative, as I am in the stages of evaluating it and it is difficult from my perspective only. Feel free to ask questions and be as harsh as you like! Many thanks! Alasdair
