It is not so easy to find a nice designed alarm clock on the market. So I decided to create my own. I will explain its function to you.
The concept is a mixture of an analog clock and a digital. The frame of the alarm clock is seperated into two red parts, than can be slightly pushed down on the main stand. By pushing the right part "set alarm" of the red frame, the digital illuminates and shows the alarm time. For adjusting the alarm you can simply turn the frame of the analog clock to the right and to the left. After adjusting the alarm you just need to push the "set alarm" again and after a while the digital dissapears - the alarm is set. If the clock rings in the morning you will get 10 minutes by hitting the left frame part "snooze", I think some of you love these buttons :-) The analog clock only shows the current time and can be illuminated by pushing the clock-frame downwards. Please tell me what you think about my alarm clock: |

Now I had another idea for the handling:
I often miss the function of a sort of "quick nap". If you want to take a nap for half an hour, you need to adjust the alarm time, and in the evening you must adjust it again for the next morning. So I thought of this: If the alarm is set off, you can push the "snooze"-button - the display illuminates and show "0:10" by pushing it again it raises to "0:20" and so on. If the "nap-time" is right simply hit the "set alarm"-button and the alarm clock rings after the time you chose. |

I like naps and on rare occasions get to grab some afternoon shuteye. But I always have to mess with my alarm clock. Very good idea on the "quick nap". |
