Amazing sketch. Nice fully resolved sketches. It does look a bit old style, I would prefer more contrast and colours. =]
I reckon some of the best sketching reference can be found on carbodydesign.com. It's mostly car design though. Also it will be great, if you could share some of your recource in sketching and design as well. -------------------- |

Your understanding of perspective, color and light is there. They do seem to have a little old style look to them. I bet when you move to tablet/digital, its going to look even better.

i noticed those new sketches are from the 1st page but juss blown up.
sorry to say... its not as strong as your first post. i think they shouldve been kept small. the large ones in the first post are much more appealing. and visually impressive. than the new ones uve juss posted. just my 2cents. good sketches...though but i still like the baige colored large pages on the 1st post more. -------------------- |

Great sketches and I can see you have a lot of ideas. I would have liked to see more of the ideas conveyed to the viewers. Right now I'm only seeing parts of your ideas and the styling but it's clear that you want to show a lot more of the ideas and innovations on each device.
May I suggest throwing some sort of composition together that shows the functionality of your mobile phone. Also everything seems very cluttered on your pages, there's no first read, second read, etc. Once again this leads back to composition. As it is right now everything is fighting for attention and there's nothing to focus on. I have to agree with the above poster. The first post with the beige pages was much better than the ones you've recently posted simply because the composition is there and I can see, without reading your callouts, what it is that you want to explain. (Just on a craftsmanship standpoint please write neater callouts.) Like everyone said, your individual sketches are great, however your layouts are not so much. Don't let anyone discourage you from using old styles! Analog sketching is still just as important as digital renderings! Keep up the good work. =) -------------------- "now tell me, what didnt you understand and at what point didnt you understand it" - Tony Yao
