Well ok, here's something different for a change, and this might be more interesting for amateur or beginners. Sketch a busstop from any angle you like original.gif
Think of what you seek when waiting for a bus or tram, you'd like to be dry in the rain for example, perhaps a bench to sit or lean against?? You can be creative here!

Some inspirational (perhaps crazy) busstops:

So, lets see what you can come up with, and yeah, I'll try and come up with some sketches as well for a change msn-wink.gif

Some tips: start with a top/side view, and try to stay within 2 or 3 cubes. Then try to make those cubes in perspective (you can start with a very easy viewpoint).. if you draw the busstop in there you then you could easily transfer that to another angle (higher or lower).

A quick marker on marker pad sketch of an idea:

I think it would be nice to have an indoor climate controlled bus stop so that those who must wait for the bus don't have to face the elements (though sometimes it's a nice day, it's not like you won't be able to wait outside as well, if you'd like).

Inside there would be plenty of bench seating and on the wall there would be a large digital clock which would give the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) for the next bus. Under the clock would be a map which showed the different bus routes and fairs for each bus.

There would be a total of four sliding glass doors, which would open much like those you see at a store (two on each side, then two on the front for loading/unloading). The walls would actually be glass so that the people may watch from inside the bus stop.

The roof would be made of solar panels which would be the main source of energey for the large LED display (which is located on the roof as well, but visible to oncomming and passing traffic/pedestrians) of what bus stop the bus is stopping at/the current time.

The shape is pretty simple, the roof is made to curve over the bus stop itself to shade the bus stop from the sun/rain (the curved shape allows for rain to slide off with ease).

wow, nice concept, though...I think the problem with your bus stop is, that the city authorities won't be able to afford it...en outre, it seems kinda strange that there's more "luxury" at a bus stop than ON a bus...

Well, I was going for a more futuristic approach than a practical one, but I agree with you, the city probably wouldn't be able to afford it.
