I changed up the face to make it seem a little more like a designer watch. Hope you like. I have a more detailed view of the back that is rendering now that I will post later. EDIT: I added a few images showing the back and front close up. It was modeled as bodies in a single part file. I used the pattern along curve for the bracelet part. Make sure your curve is created from a single spline or arcs that have been converted to fit spline. Segmented sketches get screwey with this feature. Also a sketch will work for pattern along curve not just a curve. I don't understand why there is a difference between sketches and cuves in solidworks. They are the same thing in most other 3d applications.

Wao! Eric: You are really a pro... Very nice.

Well I don't have Maxwell, so I have to live with Photoworks...

By the way, how are you dealing with the bracelet?! Is it an assembly or a part?

My computer freezed when I was working with it and now it doesn't want to start... cursing.gif And haven't had the time yet to see whats wrong... ermm.gif It's a bit old and probably just needs a little bit of inside dusting! blushsmiley.gif (I hope!! worriedsmiley.gif )

Here's my attempt.
I had a lot of trouble with the metal, it too looks dull and grey. Does anybody have any tips to getting a good chrome effect?

Harris,

The best tip I have for crome or reflective metal is that it has to have something to reflect. Either through environment or background image if there's nothing to see in the reflection, it's going to look unnatural.

Everyone's models look pretty high-speed btw.

Dear Harris:
Nice work!.
I agree with Nathan, for chrome and other reflective materials you need something to reflect on them.
Probably later we can put some ideas...

Nathan, I am sorry, but I don't know what BTW means (shame) blushsmiley.gif
Can you explain that for me?

Ciao

btw = by the way .. sorry

Also, I noticed that you could combine all the features before the circular pattern into one revolve. Is there some disadvantage to doing that (e.g. prefer several simple features to one more complicated profile?)
