I improvised in a few areas. Modelled with Solidworks and rendered with Maxwell showing two different lighting setups. One with HDRI and one with emitters.

Thanks for the comments. I would be happy to post some screen captures of the steps I took to model the camera. I will not have time until this weekend though.

Hi Eric,
Very nice modelling and rendering indeed. I would love to see some screenshots from Maxwell on how to render in that program. I am looking for an alternativ to SW since I donīt always think photoworks looks realistic enough. I canīt find any real good tut on Maxwell out there... Anyway fantastic job.. specool.gif

sweet,.. and very, very nice! The materials and highlights on the surfaces from the emitters look great!
The blue light filtering onto the floor is what I really appreciate, it looks darn good!

Here is my effort - the first time I've tried one of these challenges. It's Modeled in solidworks and rendered in Photoworks. I'm still trying to get my head round Photoworks.

Hey friends, I finished!
In this occasion I confess that I did not have a lot of time for this project.
So I simplified a lot of things (I missed the cable, etc). Sorry...

Let's move on to the next challenge (As soon as I can I will put a BreakD. of this)

Ciao, and... Good Modeling!

Well, it might be simplified but it sure looks great...
I am starting my training on sw07... and mostly working on your tutorials for bottles... hope to be good to do this one because it was complicated in Rhino, can't imaging how complicated (for me) it will be in sw.. blinksmiley.gif
