I like the small things maybe it exist already anywhere so i don't need to do the tooling. If someone know please let me also know. Modeled and rendered with Inventor so nothing special but i think it also don't need to be high art work.

any chance you could release this product. this is a great idea. most stands are either bulky or thier crap and fall to pieces.

What material did you have in mind?
Is it only for copics? Could you use it with other makers? Perhaps if you went for a flexible material like silicon, and a round section it could be fitted to others, as well as it would have better friction against the cap. Looking at my copic marker, it looks as it would be possible to make it attach to the cap from the inside (the hook comes out through the section). Would look more elegant, but various drawbacks are possible. It's a nice idea though, good luck. -------------------- |

Hi Basically i want to do it for copics (marker sketch and wide) Material i think i will use some soft ABS material will see isn't decide I will test some different. I think it must be a really cheap part so dual injection will rise the price to much but maybe we will see. You are right there are other ways to fix it on the copic but i like the easy way without to disassemble the marker. One nice thing is you got every time the right cap off the marker BR Peter -------------------- |

Nice idea. If your serious about tooling this then I would seriously consider the options as stated above. Do not limit your market purely to the copics users. Billions of pens get used daily, I would assume copics make a very small % of that.

I like the rubber version not really

Dont worry about the tooling costing less, whatever the cost make it go further ! Try to incorporate the design the suit various shapes, perhaps choice of materials is important.

make it universal for all markers, otherwise you have a very small market

Maybe talk to Copic then? It would be a great promotional product, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind that it doesn't fit any other pens
