This was my latest project for design studio subject in semester 5. The theme was sustainable product design, so i came out with kick scooter, since kick scooter is considered as a sustainable transportation because its powered by human and it suits to the project theme. All the materials that were used to build this scooter were all used and recycled materials. I gathered all the materials from junkyards. Target market is collegian and the target area is college. Scootah is a 3 wheel kick scooter so it gives more balance and stability, features are fold-able neck, thus it can be transformed as a trolley or carrier, it can carry collegian's stuffs such as bags, sport utilities, etc, the neck itself is an adjustable neck. The reference of the design is cheetah which has similar characteristic with collegians (13-19) such as dynamic, agile, and speedy.

Great reuse of materials! My thoughts are that its hard to get a sense of how large it is in your picture and the yellow is a little hard to read. I like how you have shown where all of the materials came from.

A great example of giving old products a new lease of life. I would like to see some more presentation panels to show the process and final product. Also i have to agree the yellow is very hard to read and the opening paragraph needs to be structured and punctuated as it doesnt make sense.

Great model! Design just looks great as a real model. How did you learn welding techniques? Have you use a plasma gun? =]

great job. The quality of work is immaculate, and the creative reuse of materials is environmentally friendly as well as inspiring to other designers who can't figure out how to pay for materials.

You're layouts are brilliant.. really clear and show off the product well! Good work!
Also love the product, what a great idea and really like the way you've shown all the parts that come from various products - again really clear and simple to read. Only thing that stands out is that cheetah on the last page.. it just looks a bit strange stuck between the text? Minor comment though.. overall, really like it -------------------- Gem
