Hey, i haven't considered sketching being valuable until recently, and seeing some amazing sketches on this site. I design my work in my head, then render it with CAD. This is probably because i lack confidence with sketching and i am not particularly great at it. I am really determined to improve and work the next few months hard at it hoping for drastic changes, if this is possibkle?
Ive uploaded a few sketches and just wanted some crit and advice on what i need to do to improve specifically. I find it hard to show forms of objects, i.e. if a surface is slightly rounded off such as on a mobile phone. How do i show this with shading and not drawing the lines etc? Ive looked at the videos on ID sketching.com and they have helped but i just thought some personal feedback would be more useful as i'm new to the sketching side of design. Thankyou
